just got burned the other day by this finance company ,they rang me up saying they got get me a loan uasal deyails given then they asked for a credit or debit card so a 1 pound fee to check i was the right person at the end of the call they said i would have to pay a fee between 5 and 50 pound so thought usual stuff when the paper work comes through throw it away.then when ive checked ny card theve charged 49.99 without asking tried to call back no ansmer for 24 hours untill i left abusive calls.after arguing for 10 mins they said i could not get my money back as ive enterd into an agrement now my credit card say they cant get they money back as ive enterd to an agrement and have to wait till thay ge no loan.shurley coz of the agrement being made over the phone u have 2 weeks under the consumer act pleese help and dont get burned.

dont see what the problem is, you have said they told you that you would have to pay a fee between £5 and £50 and they charged £49.99.
Now unless I'm going mad that is between 5 and 50?

no mate they dident make it clear that the money would come out then why do u think they phised for a card with a 1.00 fee to check who i was and olso they wont pay the money back even though ive seen no paperwork or have no idea where the comapny are how many times to they charge a fiver
