I went to the garden centre with £20 worth of vouchers (from Christmas) and bought a nice new block of knives from Next (again with vouchers from Xmas) and a lovely picture for my hall way.
...Linda xIt's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -
I'm totally cheesed off, because I spent £19.99 on a CD writer from PC World because hubby wouldn't wait until a cheaper one came up on Ebay and kept on about how if it stopped working, he could take it back to PC World. Pull the other one! If it stops working, I know what will happen - he'll want a bigger and better one from PC World. *sigh*
I didn't have the £19.99 in the budget, either. *weep* Why am I such a pushover?:hello: I'm very well, considering the state I'm in. :hello:Weight loss since 2 March 10 : 13lbs0 -
I know how you feel poshpaws.....my OH can be the same, very frustrating!
I spent nothing today. Will be paying off my CC when OH gets paid on the 30th, so then will be debtfree other than mortgage...
Don't want to ruin that.....though am finding myself listing all the things I can buy that are broken and we've just 'lived with'!!!!
Gonna have to lock myself in a dark room till the feeling goes away.....0
