  • Also for me personally:

Daily - quick clicks for rpoints and quidco-type sites
Monthly - spare change down back of sofa, bottom of handbag (if applicable) and in car (only really need a few pound for emergency parking).

Thanks for bumping... I re-read and realised I'd missed two this time round!

Hi welshlassie, just renewed my insurance- used to pay £55 per month ( roughly £650 for the year). Got a renewal quote for £470 by following all MSE tips:D. Decided to pay it off in one go and when i go back to work in november ( on maternity leave at present) i will add £55 to my mortgage payments because i will not miss it coming out every month.:j

    Checks for September!
  • Just found your bumped thread!

I'm going to look at my home insurance to see what I can save (not happy with the Nationwide renewal quote). Anything I can save can be reidrected into MF activities (savings, investments and/or overpayments) so it's got to be worth it.

PS. Are insurance renewal premiums going through the roof this year or are the insurance companies just taking the I°!$$?
