Just when I thought it was safe to hide my Boots Advantage Card under the mattress so I would not feel the need to go in again, I got £35 worth of Love2Shop vouchers from this survey thing I did at work, £30 worth of Boots vouchers from IPSOS and £10 worth from Valued Opinions all in one go today.

I'm having a hot flush. Someone come and fan me. LOL. What do I buy now? Eeeek!

They had lots of Brunette sets upstairs at Bluewater yesterday.

Thanks, but Bluewater is a bit far for me to go. Have to reply on public transport, as I don't want to ride the motorbike over that bridge!!! Too scary for me.
I haven't even tried the range, but it'll work out cheaper buying it in the gift set, than it will seperately-although it's on offer in Boots at the moment, so if I can't find it, I may just do that.

Hi Pet, I don't know what GWP it was, but near the NO 7 counter they have all the posh creams, I think it was OLAY and it had this posh PURPLE BOX type thing with a GOLD RIBBON on it. That is the 0.00 GWP, but depends which SA you go to, as the troll I went to sent me packing! Boohiss.

Oh thanks now why didn't I see this yesterday? Will be Monday or Tuesday when I can get back there now as well but will look there straight away, thanks x

  • I saw these gloves today on the SnG display at Bluewater. They're being sold separately now in their own little box!

Preston Deepdale had a couple of the old black No7 for Men GWP on sale for £6.49 each today. Had a fair amount of reduced No7 sun stuff as seems everywhere else, but nothing at all in regards to 75% off items.

I managed to empty the shelves in the Llanishen boots but was wondering if anyone knows of any sale stock left anywhere in Cardiff?

  • Hi everyone, Im a genuine mse newbe.
Firstly Thanks a million times over to everyone for the really useful Boots info. I was really prepped up for the 75% sale, but had an absolute nightmare day trying to process my order (along with loads of others im sure!)
To cut a very long story short, i got in touch with Boots today and they have told me that the sale is unlikely to go back online.
If anyone hears differently please correct me as i still have some lovely stuff in my basket!!
Anyway, Thanks, and thanks again, not to Boots of course!!!

Just back from Glasgow Fort, bit dissapointing, very little 75% off, Royal Jelly stuff (can't bear the idea of that, makes me think of wee hairy bees legs! Yuk). Accessorise makeup bags and purse, wrap paper, some reduced perfume sets but none of particular note Girand? (not sure if that is correct). all on one small aisle. Notices up stating new 2009 range in store 18th Jan.

They did have the Olay GWP, around 8 of them left. Got 2 but disguised them with wipes that were reduced to £2.20. Went through £0.00. Also a small variety of reduced No7 at the main tills, essential day and night cream (pink) some of the green moisturiser, body quench moisturiser and tanning creams and sun screen.
Managed to get naturally sunkissed moisturiser for £0.00, used SS tills and forgot to use 250pts with the blinkie:mad:. Was sweating a bit worrying about GWP!!

    Plenty pantene sachets, bottom shelf.

Not altogether wasted trip. Hope this is a help to someone.

I keep reading about people seeing these big Elle bags in their stores. You are MAD, people, if you haven't bought one yet. There is a lot of stuff in each bag and the jar of body butter alone costs more on the shelf than the whole bag plus seven products is selling for at 75% off. I think the quality is much better than the S&G, the hand cream is the best I've ever bought ...and the bag is nice too.
    Val.
