It might just make you mad to know! I'm pretty sure that on many items, Boots still makes a profit at 50% off. They seriously aren't giving you anything "free" throughout the year on the 342 sales or items that come with a free gift -- they've just inflated prices enough that the price of two items more than covers the cost of the third "free" item and a nice profit, too. That in mind, they probably aren't definitely taking a loss until the 90% off sale, and *maybe* a small loss on the 75% off sale.

I have hunted high and low in my area for these to no avail so, had I been in your situation, even if they had been guarded by three prisoner cell block h inmates - I would have fought to the death to get one!!!

It is open to abuse by some people who don't have better things to do, but its more of an effort than I have made.

Did quite well today,bought some splenda and some Herbal essenses to earn a blinkie first.
Then in next Boots found reduced R&M lip liners (lovely retractable ones in a silver casing) for £2.33 so picked up 2 and some more shampoo and a cough bottle (my Dad has Bronchitis) and SA put them both through on one blinkie and was really helpful.And as I earned another blinkie,I treated myself to the No7 Minerals blusher and GWP and made up my spend with strepsils for my Dad.Used 250pts voucher from gold gwp but till bleeped but the same lovely SA got them added for me.:T Another blinkie is now burning a hole in my purse!
Both branches had reduced No7 but to be honest I am not keen on the skincare and the nail varnishes never last.But I might be tempted if I end up with more blinkies!
The only thing I would love is the Really Reviving skin spritz if anyone sees any in Edinburgh area.

Still plenty sale stuff but it didn't seem to be shifting so hopefully will still be there for 75% off;)
