Pants! I am sooooo tired. Stayed up until 1.30am, stupidly thinking the 75% would start 'anytime now'! Up again at 3am- encountered 'generic error'. I'm getting desperate to clear it now. I've tried deleting my browsing history, deleted cookies, temp files etc AND IT'S STILL THERE! Grrrr! There's a code in part of it which, when you type into the Boots search, comes up with the Soap and Glory grab bag I want! Anyone any more ideas how I can clear it, so if/when the time comes I can shop again?

Still, got up at 6.40 as normal, plodded down to the local store for 9am to see stuff disappearing off the shelves before it opened!!!

Spent £30 ish this morning- couple of JF blonde hair kits things, Hackett wallet set, Whack a Mole game, Scents of Occasions set, Red Ruby and Millie set and walked out quite pleased...... and went back in my lunch hour and five minutes to get a couple of JF Brunette kits (for mum), St. Tropez set down to £11.01, a couple more Scents of Occ. sets (for Mum) and little trinket set for a girl I used to teach who is v.v. poorly and undergoing chemo... took our secretary with me- she's been grinning from ear to ear all afternoon!

Mum on the other hand was in a store for 8.30am, 15 miles away. Kept getting little updates from her- Think she's gone over £120 on stuff.... ex-Boots employee.... loves it! The bit that made me chuckle was 'ooooooooh, don't come round at that time, your Dad will be back..... he'd best not see what I've bought!!!

After all that I only got wrapping paper and a calendar that was originally in my basket! Hope the web is soon up and running problem-free.....

Overall really pleased with what I got.

The clearence bit is by the hair dyes, there were loads of dummies but bewarned they scan at £1 so you have to point it out! I got the pj's with the dogs on blue and white stripe (not at all xmassy!), all the "xmas" ones are 75% off the lady scanned several for me to check! HTH! Well done on your bargains!

Went to Manchester about 10:30 this morning. Was rather busy. Managed to avoid losing an arm in the rush .
Didnt get any Soap and Glory which i would have loved (but i aint that lucky.) But managed to get £120 worth of stuff for £30:T.
Silly me forgot my Boots Card though:o.

went to birmingham store this afternoon, the one outside there was nothing left, went to the one in the bull ring as well they had loads and loads of stuff left got loads of stuff, spent £35, and my other half got me some hair straighteners which should have been £90 but they where down to £35 bargin

Ohh I went to Cribbs and it was well stocked also. I will be in town for work tomorrow so may pop by Broadmead as have some blinkies to use up. Wonder if they will re-stock the shelves tonight??

Message to all disappointed on line Bootsers

You must send emails, in droves, to Customer Services. This is a most dreadful situation for you, especially when those of you who always have to order from dot com, because you don't live near/can't get to a store, are the bread and butter of Boots.

Phone calls can be frustrating, and leave you hanging on, with perhaps a screaming baby in the background, whereas emails can be sent at your leisure, corrected, amended, listing everything, are free, and can be finally sent when you're certain you've said everything.

How many of us can remember every single little detail from long phone calls to companies?

Give as much detail as possible, starting with your AC number, and send to both of these (this is where I've had success in the past):

The fact that I've had such a good time at Lakeside, has made me feel guilty, especially for so many of you who have sat up night after night.

But it is totally unfair that those people who have success on line, seem to have been randomly fortunate. I'm glad some of you did get through, but feel so dreadfully sorry for those that didn't.

It may not get you anywhere, sending these emails, but at least you will feel you've had to chance to get it out of your system.

They might re-stock as when my friend and I were in this morning she was speaking to one of the staff she knows and they said they had quite a few cages out the back.

Went to the lakeside branch this afternoon,was packed had to queue for 25 minutes! but i got £153 Worth of stuff for £53 including soap n glory!
