    Hi Everyone

Does anyone know what the stock levels are like in the Oracle in Reading (and Broad Street). Skibster (or any other Reading Bootsers) ?

There is a fair amount of stock in both stores, but it's boring -- none of the in-demand items (they were mostly gone the first morning and none have reappeared, though the other stuff has been re-stocked). There's no s&g or p&p, no alcohol or food sets, etc. What is left looks like the same stuff you can find online (and I wouldn't be surprised if much of this will still be around for the 90% off sale, so you might want to buy now only the items you badly want).

Last year here the doors opened just after 9 & they only opened the main door not the side or upstairs doors. People were ducking under the shutter as it rose & pushing on the escalator

The doors opened at 9?! That ruins my plan of going at 8.30 and rushing back to uni to do some revision :rotfl:luxor4t, do you know how much sale stock is left in the Swansea centre store? :)

What is people's experience of ordering online? Is Boots.com like Marks and Spencers where they accept the order online then you get a string of emails cancelling individual items until you end up with virtually nothing. I have seen things I wante in store but not bought them because I had ordered them online, only to have them cancelled at a later date and end up with nothing.

So if I get up early on Wednesday (assuming thats when sale starts online and instore) and place an order online, then go proper shopping, should I pick up things in store as well, or can I be confident that my online shop will come.

I have just been checking last year's order, which was a total shambles. One particular item was in a despatch confirmed email, then OOS, then re-appeared on the site. etc etc. This year I picked up things I really wanted instore at 50% off, but of course I'll be looking tomorrow/Wed/whenever. Until they get to grips with their online stock control, I shan't risk it except for things I'm not much bothered about.

I can`t comment as to how the products smell, never used them, but seems good value for what you get. Wouls be a nice gift for the right person.

I myself did receive a FCUK Grooming Urban Premium Gift Set, the scarf and wallet are great and the other products smell nice and fresh, a good set and a bargain if you get it at 75%.
Is that Cathy Henderson from Bridge of Orchy???
    OOPS. Wrong poster...sorry.

Oh give over love, it's only little old me. My lips are not that clear in that one, will put another one in a few days showing my pout in all it's glorious delight :p:p

I don't know if any of you have MORRISONS stores near you. But at the moment, they are doing an offer with the DAILY MIRROR. Buy the MIRROR for 45p, which includes 2 vouchers for 2 free products each day. The voucher can ONLY be used on the day it was in the paper. Today's one is a good one. You get a PACK OF 4 BAKING POTATOES (worth 50p) and a BOTTLE OF OZCLEEN KITCHEN POWER CLEANER (worth £3.60). I don't know if anyone might be able to get some for themselves at this time of the day as they may have all gone by now. Tomorrow it's a TIN OF MORRISONS BAKES BEANS and a BAG OF APPLES. The last vouchers will be in this Friday's Daily Mirror. I know this is totally off topic and I am sure some people will get upset (they can come and smack my bum bum later *wink*), but it's a great deal. I am sure it is posted on MSE somewhere but a lot of people won't go fluttering around in those forums. Besides it's all about money saving what with the credit crunch and what not. Anyway, yours truly is off to glam up the already polished kitchen with his new bottle of OZCLEEN. Woohoo.
