John Lewis pension

A number of years ago when I was a teenager I worked for Waitrose supermarkets for about 2 years at weekends/evenings. I believe that John Lewis contributed into a pension for me at the time. I am now a state school teacher.
How would I find out if there is a pension pot for me?
If there is, is it possible to transfer the money into my teaching pension pot?
Would that be a good idea?

Contact the John Lewis pensions department with details of your name, national insurance number and date of birth. If you can, also add the rough periods of your dates of employment as this may help them too. They can then look you up on their records and respond accordingly. Here's their Head Office details.progressive_uk wrote: »If there is, is it possible to transfer the money into my teaching pension pot? ?
It may be, but there may be time limitations. For more details contact the Teachers' Pension Scheme or read this page on their website: Transferring from another scheme.progressive_uk wrote: »Would that be a good idea?
Impossible to tell from what you've posted.
Hope that helps.
