Gaurantor mortgages

I want to transfer a mortgage for a flat for my daughter forom my existing lendor to a new mortgage where I am the gurantor and the flat will be in her name.
Any pointers as to a good company to do this with?

  • Bristol and West have a great scheme which can allow you to be guarantor but not own the property, avoids tax implications of owning an assett, First Start is what they call it. Scottish Widows bank also do a good guarantor scheme, you only guarantor what your daughter cannot afford rather than the whole lot. Both have good "Get out of the guarantor scheme" rules too.
