Has anybody switched from fee paying debts paying creg pen to free paying payplan?
How easy was it?
We are thinking of switching as we would be better off paying the debts rather than creg pens fee's

I haven't switched but I've read a few posts on this board by people who have - maybe trawl thru some of the older posts.
Definately change to a non-fee debt charity such as CCCS or Payplan. Why pay for something that you could get for free? Every penny could go towards your debts.
Good luck.Mortgage-free wannabe!0 -
Have you signed an agreement with GP? Then just check you can cancel without penalty so you know where you stand. Penalty or not you should definately cancel and go to a free service. Ignore anything they say because they will be desperate to keep you paying fees.
