Anybody that refers to an invitation to treat as an offer to treat should not be purporting know the law!
How can you refer to legal terminology when you cannot even spell the word legally?
zenseeker and wes_cov's information is accurate. dnomyar appears to have his own legel system. :T
Sorry for the bad spelling, I am dislexic and did not use my spell checker.
With regard to the coment about offer and invitation, this was corrected in my later comment, sorry for confusion, I think faster than I type.
With regard to the statement of my own legal system, are you a solicitor or studying law and can you advise me of the test case to prove your point, as I am still under the impression that there is no test case to stipulate when a contract is complete in online purchases, thus still a grey area. If you go to a shop the contract is complete when you pay for your goods not when you get home with them!if i had known then what i know now0 -

Yes, I do have a Law degree, as well as several years experience in this area! It is quite clear that you do not.
I believe that you are not being honest about being dyslexic. Your spelling patterns do not match those of a dyslexic. You will also find that those that pretend to be dyslexic will insist on spelling dyslexic wrong, when every other word in their text is correct. This would not be the case with someone that was truly dyslexic. It is in very poor taste to pretend to have a medical condition when clearly you do not. :rolleyes:Gone ... or have I?0 -

I have just looked at your other posts, and have never seen so much incorrect information being given out! Please remember that people rely on the input of others in this forum, and your misleading posts are not helpful in the least. Perhaps you could check your facts in future before posting?Gone ... or have I?0 -

I do have terrible spelling and do not deny this. Sorry for being human.
So you have a medical degree as well as a law degree, any other degrees you have to bolster your arguments? and an expert in dyslexicia. Can you explain why my spelling patterns do not prove I am dyslexic. Funny that, as I was diagnosed when I was 21. There are also varying grades of dyslexia but being an expert you would have known that!
I too have looked back at some of your posts and responses and you do not like it if people disagree with you, do you!
Are you always correct? My opinions are my opinions, I do check my facts to see if they are at least close. If my advice has gotten me somewhere or others somewhere in the past then I will give my advice or advice given to me or from elswhere on this site or other sites and will pass that on. But again I can admit if I have made a mistake and apologise if my opinions are not fully acurate.
I do not practice law but do have an MBA which does cover some aspects of business law.
Again can you show me the president set in court to bolster your argument that the contract is not complete when payment is taken. As pointed out previously if teh Ts and Cs of a web site are not drafted correctly then they do not cover the websites owner. This information can be found on many law related websites covering e-commerce. Maybe I should have pointed out that there is nothing wrong with arguing and threatening the online company but be extra careful if you want to follow through with those threats and not to take my or anyone elses anonymouse word for it and get reliable information from a solicitor who specialises in this area before doing anything more!if i had known then what i know now0
