Details of Bankruptcy

I apologise if this is placed in the wrong forum and please move it if it is.

Basically the problem I have is that my husband and I are in the process of remortaging and we need to give the date my husband was made bankrupt. He was discharged in 2004. I have just checked one of his credit reports (ended up stupidly paying for it by mistake  ) and it seems that as the bankruptcy was more than 6 years ago it isn't even showing the information I need.

Is there anyway I can find out what date he was made bankrupt?
Did owe £9,951.96

Now helping hubby pay off loan. Finally paid off :j

If he was discharged in 2004 it was likely a 3 year BR back then so it would be 2001 unless he was discharged early. Have you checked the London Gazette? Thats where all bankruptcies are listed forevermore!

You can search for him in the London Gazette bankruptcy listing. He will be there forever!

Pop over to the Bankruptcy & Living with it forum and see the sticky on the front page about cleaning up your credit files. That should be done to make sure everything is correct on his file.

Thanks for the link peachyprice, I will see if it's up and running later.

Fiveyearplan, luckily hubby's credit files are looking pretty good and he has managed to get a better bank account and even a mortgage together a couple of years ago and now need to remortgage to a better deal.
