Do you know if you have to continue your membership/ purchase an anuual membership or can you cancel after the first month?

You are committing to a single £0.00 Joining fee and £42.99 per month for a minimum of 12 monthly payments so I would presume that you have to agree to pay but in my experience gym membership contracts give you 14 days? i think?

I got a similar deal at LA fitness: January free (I actually got December free too) and no joing fee- contract starts in feb and is 12 months so they have me signed up for 14 months....

I also got the deal where I can go to any LAfitness in the UK which apparently is £100 per month (I pay £47). I think many gyms will be behind in thier figures at the moment with the credit crunch so its worth going for the free day offer (that they all seem to have at the moment) and let them beg for you to join after you have left. Thats what worked for me anyway.

Still not as nice as my last gym though (I used to go to a luxury gym tied to where I worked) so think mentioning their bad points is a good idea too! Haggle with them- what have you got to lose! (aside from your dignity!!)
