Just bought one of these myself yesterday - sounds great! Did want an XFI really but this was so much cheaper - £60 in store ... or £34.47 online/collect @ store.
I collected in store, and also got something back from QuidCo, making the total price less than £34.
Comes with a remote too but I'm not using it because I've run out of USB ports...

I get a bit confused over this particular Audigy.
As far as I am aware its quite different to the Audigy 4 Pro, this one is an updated version of the Audigy 2 Value.
So does that make the Audigy 2 ZS higher or lower spec than this one at PCWorld ?
Thanks, MArk.Smile and be happy, things can usually get worse!0 -

I've done some more reading and disappointing as it is, this is a re-badged new Audigy 2 Value.
Its lower spec than an Audigy 2 ZS.
Looks like I'll have to save up for that X-Fi card.

I ordered this earlier. The one on XtsIT is cheaper but the PC world one is the retail version with the remote for around a tenner extra. I've opted for the £4 delivery, does anyone know if they use Royal Mail or a courier?
And I'm a bit concerned to read it isn't as good as an Audigy 2 ZS, but hopefully if the reviews support this then I can sell it on eBay or somewhere.0 -
It must be holding your old orders then because that's not my postcode and I've not ordered anything else.

As to the quality, I don't find it bad at all lol - but yes it does use the same chip from the Audigy 2.
Edit, and yes XTSIT appears to be cheaper, but with VAT that's £28.38, plus around £5 delivery charge (from their Help section), and that's near enough the PC World price but as mentioned, PCW is the retail version with remote control etc.0 -

Mark.
Strange you say that. The board layout is different to the Audigy 2 Value as there are more capacitors and a cirrus logic IC on board. Show the link where this indicates what you say.0 -
