What's the deal?
Buy a Pantene shampoo or conditioner at Superdrug and you'll be able to get a free hair wash and finish. The cheapest qualifying product is £1.76, a 200ml bottle of shampoo, so this is a pretty cheap way to get a professional blow-dry.
The promotion's organised by The Hair Group, which has run similar deals before. If you've taken part in one of its offers within the last 12 months, unfortunately you won't be eligible for this.
How to grab it
First check there's a participating salon near you (there are around 150 nationwide) then call The Hair Group on 0844 884 4000 to confirm the hairdresser's taking part.
If you find a salon in your area, head in-store to Superdrug, buy a bottle of Pantene and pick up a special voucher which should be attached to the shelf holding the Pantene range.
Then send the completed coupon and your receipt to: The Hair Group/Pantene, Unit F, Penfold Estate, Imperial Way, Watford, Herts WD24 4YY; before 29 May '09.
What to watch out for
Previous promotions by The Hair Group have raised mixed reactions from MoneySavers - so here are some quick tips:
Many thanks to MoneySaver cestlavie for spotting this offer and posting about it in another thread. This post has been created to provide a more detailed explanation.

Previous promotions by The Hair Group have raised mixed reactions from MoneySavers - so here are some quick tips:
- It can take up to 60 days to be contacted (either by The Hair Group or your allocated salon) to make an appointment.
- The salon can be up to 45 minutes journey time away.
- You need to make an appointment within three months.
- Some salons may require a refundable booking deposit.

I have tried these "Hair group" deals on 2 occasions usually collecting vouchers and sending off and have never heard a thing from them.
I think they are just timewasters and would be interested to see if anyone has ever got the freebies that the hair group offer!!0 -
I also tried this about 9 months ago. I did receive a phone call about 2 months after applying saying that a salon was opening close to my home in the next few weeks and someone would ring me ..... not heard another thing! Won't bother again.0
-
and I've never received mine either

ive had 3 free haircuts with them before, with the herbal essences offer, the salons have always been really close to me and its saved me about £30 each time, i havent paid for a haircut for 1 yr
i also have one booked for next week.
you can just give a different name and use a different address (your family) and then u can get more than 1 haircut a yr.....fab0 -
I rather publicy lambasted the Hair Group on this very site, having sent off 3 vouchers in 2 years and never heard a thing from them.
However, after deciding to stop being a moaning cow and start being pro-active about things, I gave them a call.
They couldn't have been more lovely and 2 weeks later, here I am with an amazing new haircut all for free!
I suggest for anyone who has not heard from them, phone them and you should get a good result. I take back all the bad things that I said about them.Living with Lupus is like juggling with butterflies0 -
i went into superdrug in blackpool and the pantene bottles looked the same? Is this the case?0
-
I never heard back from them so I called them and got my free haircut!
