My opinion is you could probably earn more getting a "proper" part time job, doing something that may not be completely what you were after but will provide you with more money than getting a job working from home would.
Personally, I also like to come home from my job so I can relax or study and not have worry about my job.0 -
Girl in need so sorry that you have had such an (or is it a LOL LOL) person being so unhelpful (theres always one!)
As you enjoy making your jewellery what about having a bit of a spurt at making as many items as possible and selling them at craft fairs etc.
Usually the fairs are at weekends..would that fit into your study?
Ebay any unwanted items and any jewellery.
Good luck with it..you sound very creative so im sure you could put those skills to use somehow.#440 sealed pot challenge0 -

Actually I think you are trying to be difficult and cannot see how your argument is going to help the OP or us in understanding what exactly the OP means..
To be able to advise to OP we need to know why does it have to be work from home - as the reason can be in a way of ability to earn from our suggestions.. Clearly the fact that OP is full time student cannot be a reason why the work must be from home.
Is the £100 monthly??0 -
You suggested that you could be interested in maybe Avon or The Body Shop at Home (TBSAH). I'm a consutant with TBSAH and I'd be very happy to talk to you more about it. You're welcome to PM me. Where in the country are you based?
TBSAH is very very flexible but don't be fooled into thinking it's easy. You need to put effort into booking parties then you need to do the parties and order the goods then make sure they are properly delivered after.
I'm curious about why you don't want to do your jewlery party plan but you are interested in TBSAH?0 -
Bear in mind that handmade jewellry is a very crowded market, and you will have to put a lot of time and effort into promoting your work, plus invest in materials. This without being sure that you will make any money.
Pubs, however, are always looking for staff, and you should easily be able to fit in some shifts around your studies. That will at least give you a guaranteed income. You could try making a few pieces and see how it goes, but if you need to help fund your studies I would say a 'proper' job would be better.0 -

Me trying to be difficult?
I was sticking up for the OP after they got such a sarcastic reply...how the hell I am trying to be difficult?:rotfl:

If you need £100 as a one off, then I am sure you can find some stuff to sell on ebay. When I moved house I was brutal with myself and sold off all clothes that I hadn't worn in the previous 6 months and a few random bits of rubbish (like photoframes and jewellery) that I didn't want anymore. I made about £150ish.
However, if you are looking for something long term there is a paucity of home work, I have asked on here and looked around before.
I did some surveys and stuff for a while but they took up way too much of my time and only lightspeed really gave any rewards, but in the form of vouchers- and I needed cold hard cash!!
Which uni are you at? Most unis have uni-based temping agencies that are very sympathetic to student time constraints. If your uni does have one then it is worth signing up and seeing what they have to offer. I signed up with mine when I was an undergraduate and I did a few interviews for various people (e.g. computer services) and got paid between £10 and £15 for an hours chattering!!
Also, have a look at your unis psychology department, they are always needing people to do experiments. In the summer I spent 45 mins doing really easy maths (like add 367 and 487) and got paid about £20.
So, there are quite a few options for you.. you just have to do some digging!! Good luck.'I can't deny the British influence on my accent and mannerisms, but I don't know the British national anthem, I didn't weep for Princess Diana and I always cheer when Britain loses at sport. That's how British I am' Constantine-Simms. :T

Several people have already blocked there posts because of the judgemental postsminiquinny wrote: »Why are you even here? I used to make jewellery, I had my work in quite a few art galleries and craft shops, and never really managed to break even. I had good suppliers and always bought in bulk, and had several thousand invested in materials and equipment.
Not to mention you actually need to have a talent to be able to make the jewellery in the first place.
What are you good at? If you *must* work from home then do something you're good at. And buy lots of marketing books.
However, most of my college and university friends have jobs in fast food places or pubs. I don't see why this should be any different for you.0
