in Cutting tax
Hi my husband is going to try self employment. He will be a sole trader. Is it better tax wise to buy a van (this would be secondhand) or to lease. Any advice appreciated.

(calmgirls husband)Dont get a van if he dont need one I am self employed and have brought an esatate car all my kit fits in it (handy man) it only cost £250 you can insure it for under PLG the tax costs less and a standard mot is cheaper and at the end of the day an old beat up car will always sell. People buy vans for their living and want a reliable one. If in 2-3 years he still thinks he needs a van then get one then oh and get an accountant i pay my one 200 a year and he saves three times that much out of my Income taxMoney's too tight to mention!!!0
