If you live near a Wilkinsons or Home and Bargains they sell them.
Think I even saw hot water bottles without covers in Poundland.
I use the wheat hottie bottles that you hewat in the microwave and now prefer that to a hot water bottle.

I got one of these Hot wheat bags with lavender from Works book shop at £1.99.
Just stick in da mirco wave for 90 sec, no bothering with fulling a bottle with hot water.
Or just stick it on the heater for a hour, before use. My hubby loves it, he pops it on the heater before he goes to bed and its nice and hot for him in the morning too drive me to work in these cold winter mornings we have. Great for his sore shoulder he has too.
They have their own brand but mine is from the The Natural Wheat bag co. ltd sold on their site for £10!!!

  • I like the hot wheat bags/hot gel bottles that you can warm in the microwave. Avoids tipping boiling water! John Lewis or House of Fraser (I get the 2 shops confused!) sell some nice ones :)

our local 99p shop has them sometimes, I love my hot water bottle!!!!

Mine too, I bought mine from there yesterday, no cover but that's how I like it!
*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*
No new toiletries challenge - use up the stash first!

  • Home bargains has them (without covers but in all different colours) for 99p.

I got mine in the Next sale last week, it has a really cute reindeer cover :D Only £4 and it came with a matching mug and some hot chocolate too!
  • Why don't we have any Home Bargains in the South East :( Specifically Kent where I live :( There always seem to be bargains in Home Bargains on loads of MSE posts!
