Returning an item to ebuyer

I ordered an item from ebuyer on 3/12/08 for a birthday present but it was a duplicate so i called ebuyer on 4/12/08 and asked could i return the item to which they said yes and gave me and RMA number, id sent the item back on the 6/12/08 and it was delivered to the ebuyer returns office on 9/12/08, my question is was i meant to something with the RMA number like write it on the box,

    A. If there is no Returns Merchandise Authorisation number ("RMA") on the outside of the package then there is a good chance that this will lead to delays of upto 30 days in processing your return. To avoid this delay, we recommend that if you wish to return goods you first obtain a RMA number by selecting ‘Returns’ from the ‘Account’ menu and following the instructions.

    ok thanks, ill give them a call, i did get an RMA but i hadnt put it on the box,

    just called ebuyer and she was v helpful and said she could see it had been delivered and signed for and she would inform returns dept stating i hadnt put the RMA number(yes a bit of a doofus) on the item
