Second, when you get the transfer done, close down all the old accounts so you cannot use them again, and cut up your new card so you can't add to it!
If you start using cash for a while, you become so much more aware of the cost of things. My failings are always coffee, makeup and skin care. Now I have to hand over a note rather than a card.... I tend to think twice.
Good luck!
Good idea about the CCs! They are def being cutup very soon!0 -
Looks like a good start to me, hope someone puts in a bid for the books.
Is the £40 for the gym just for yourself? Do you go often and can you move to a different gym that might be cheaper?Keep the Faith!0 -
Hi
Do you know what the Aprs are on those debts? and what the minimum payments are?
The things you could tackle are your clothes expenditure and maybe reduce the phone. You do need contents insurance, even if only at about £12 per month.
My flat is in a pretty high insurance premiums area, but will definatly consider getting some quotes0 -
hallam lad, gym is juist for my, its not onlythe cheapest one in the area, it is also the only one! I'm linked into a contract at the moment, so it will cost more to end the contract. I'm actually pretty pleased abou this because i consider it necessary to my sanity!0

You do not need to pay council tax if you are classed by your college as a full time student. In practice this means you must be attending college for at least 16 hours, plus either work experience or a lot of course work expected. Usually you have to get a certificate from college to certify that your course is classed as full time.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0

Your bills seem pretty reasonable although am sure you can lower your grocery spending.
I do a meal plan to help avoid wasting food and also avoids panic shopping when no food in house and so buy expensive ready meal or similar in supermarket and also spend more than intended on 'bargains'
I like to bulk cook which lasts for a few days or you can always freeze extra. Definitely helps me save money.
I find Boots no. 17 great for when I need a make-up fix - I think the stuff is good quality and they have a good colour range and sooo much cheaper than Shu Uemura, Chanel, Dior and Lancome (love those juicy tubes) who were my old faves!!I've got my own flat :j:j
Now I have to pay the bills
And feed my interiors addiction

I love Benefit and Mac, which I am deluding myself are actually quite MSE as i use them every day and the products tend to last about a year! I actually don't need anything for the forseeable future as i havelotsleft of most things. I'll try number 7 if i do run out. I quite like rimmel, and Maybelline mascaras. I also have lots of shampoo, conditioner, shower gel etc etc which i got ion the sales and on BOGOF. The only thing beauty-wise i am running out of it Frizz ease. I get the big size, but they run out so fast! Anyone got sany ideas for an alternative? I have really thick ,curly hair and it goes a bit crazy without.0 -
I have 11 things listed on Ebay, two with bids and one with a watcher. Very excited about this! I'd forgotten how long winded ebay is though. It is a good oportunity to have a clear out though.
So far today i have spent nowt, but i'm out to dinner tonight with the bf. I'm hoping he may offer to pay though:o I have a fiver in my wallet that can go towards a pint after. Tomorrow i am having dinner cooked for me!
I've got lots of food in, and i get paid next week so i'm hoping the next few days are cheap. I have to do a bit of cooknig though for packed lunches etc. I'm spending the weekend at the gym, and i'm off to a party to nice and cheap! I may attempt some matched betting if i can get my head around it and some of the daily clicks. When i get paid i will update my SOA with my pre pay day overdraft total, make a monthly meal plan to stick on the fridge and do a supermarket shop. Exciting stuff!
Big love guys

Four of my ebay items have bids on them! With five days left to go!
I have made a packed lunch for tomorrow, which i used to do loads but have got out of the habit of, so tomorrow will be a no spend day, the first time i've deliberatly done one, but there is no money left in my account and nothing i really need.
I'm off to put somemore stuff on ebay

Hello and evening all!
I'm feeling pretty positive today, first official no spend day was a success - nearly wasn't as I got halfway down the road this morning then had to come back for my packed lunch! Doh.
I was on a training course and I thought they would provide tea and biscuits but no such luck, so filled up on water. I didn't bring any money anyway, so could not be tempted.
I have 15 things listed on ebay, and have done a few "clicks" today, for a grand total of about 50p. Think I'll have to be a bit more efficiant at that.
I'm over at my folks tomorrow, so possibly another NSD but maybe not...0
