JML Cable Tidy - Alternatives?

Hi,

I want a product like the JML Cable Tidy, but was wondering if there are any generic alternatives that may be of better quality, style or price?

If you don't know what they are > http://www.jmldirect.com/Cable-Tidy-PC8910/

Also, if there are, are they usually available at Robert Dyas, Waitrose or any other shops at Canary Wharf? As I would like to buy these tomorrow, and don't wish to travel too far. I can't order online either, not for a few days anyway, until my bank is credited with my money.

Thanks! :D

Apologies if this is in the wrong area... :)

Boyes store in Northern area of England sell it for about £1

Some Pound shops sell them. Wilkos have them to but they are more there than other places I mention. forget the brand JML is a rebadge
  • Thanks to both of you :) I looked in ASDA earlier today and they didn't have any. no surprise, it's the worst ASDA for about 100 miles.

I'll take a look at a Wilkinsons or Poundland tomorrow or this weekend. Thanks :)

You dont need to pay more than a couple of quid for these for a 2-3 meter length. I find getting some cable tiers (plastic tiers that you insert and tighten) is also good as it makes the cable tight either end of the cable tidy

Even on a TV with amp and that you still get some mess, as teh cables all come from different directions, main cable, optical, hdmi, scart etc

I got mine in one of the Pound-type shops
  • I used to use them but found them to awkward.

I just use black duck tape now.
  • I got a strip of about 5m from Ikea for £2.50. Not sure if there is one near you though.

I bought some at poundland, they had them in 2 colours, black or a light grey colour - was a while ago though.
