Cheaper DVD's from POP 24/7 machines

I went to a VUE cinema this weekend and noticed a machine selling DVD's & bluerays at a much lower price than I can find anywhere else. They seem to be from the Universal Pictures range and some are available from under £3.00

I got a blueray of Mama Mia (released in November 2008!) for £7.02 with additional discount from a kind member of staff! But even without the discount code it would have only cost £8.77 which is half the list price of £17.54.

We looked in zavvi a bit later in the day and they were priced at £19.99 there (no wonder they are failing with those prices!)

I dont think every VUE cinema has one but the list of places that do have the machines is on their site, they appear to also be introducing downloads soon and video console games.

I really hope this helps someone and also hope that I have posted in the right place! I did do a search but couldnt find anything similar listed.

Regards and HNY

V :)

That does surprise me :) I'll keep and eye out for it at our Cribbs venue when I next go (although I won't be getting Mamma Mia, it's a terrible film imo).
