HELP! Wrist Watch Guarantee confusion

I bought a TW Steel ( http://www.twsteeluk.com/ ) watch from Miami USA. Unfortunately the cold weather seems to have caused a crack on the inside of the glass (but the outer layer seems fine).
I am still under guarentee but after speaking with UK customer services, they claim that the glass cannot be covered (even from the weather) therefore i would need to pay for a replacement. Is this right?
How do Guarentees work on watches?
Thanks,
Rakesh

I used to work in a jewellers and that is right. The g/tee doesn't cover the strap or glass. There is no way you can prove the weather has cracked the glass , thats the problem. Usually glass breaks from being knocked/banged thats why they're not covered.0

I would like to add that I knocked a watch a few years ago, and it cracked on the inside leaving the outside layer unmarked...just thought I would point out that such a thing can happen before anyone leaps on the fact.We have removed your signature - please contact the forum team if you are not sure why - Forum Team0
