    Thank you for your replies.

Yes, Nil Tax code was applied but, of course, I did not spend this money. As I said, I did some overtime in the last 2 or 3 months of the year and also got my bonus. Unfortunately, I have been told that from now, Overtime will not available as it was before in my company... I am more than happy to do overtime and to pay to OR or MB the tax, but if they use the last payslips to calculate I will be definitely out of money.
My normal salary after tax is around 2300, however, in the last pay slip, with Overtime and Bonus I got before tax ( Nil Tax Code ) around 5000. In november and December, before Nil Tax code was applied, I got after tax around 3000. So, If they use the last 3 payslips, maybe they calculate around 1000 or more a month but if they use the base salary I would have to pay around 500 Tax.

I am not sure if they will do their calculations based only on the Base Salary ( on the payslip is clear what is Base Salary, and what is overtime and bonus ) or if they use the full amount.

My income is dropping dramatically from February onwards - hence the BR. I shall be stuck if it is on the last one, two or three payslips.

If your income drops, you need to inform your OR within 21 days. You can explain that this will obviously have an impact on what tax you would be paying as well.

Yes, correct. Because Moon Beever are just a bunch of solicitors acting on the OR's behalf they won't be working out your tax each and every month once you have been paid, they'll take an average.

Did you give the OR your paylips when you had your interview? If so were these the biggies?

All I can say is that it's a nil tax IPA, the A meaning agreement, if they ask for more than you think is correct you can challenge them until you come to an agreement.

I don't think it needs to be that bad - simply explain that part of the reason for you going BR is your income falling in February, etc so any nil tax code they apply (if they bother) need to take that into account.

    Thank you all.
Yes, the Or has plenty of Payslips....so he can check that what I am telling is correct...
My worries are that maybe Monn Beever or even OR just want to see the last 3 because they are the most recent...

anyway, the A on IPA is agreement, so I guess it will be OK ..

I think the trick here is to supply Moon Beever with the last six months and attach a note explaining why you are doing so.

I imagine that most people who are employed and go BR also get a bonus, so I dont think that is fair that MB or OR take this payslip ( the one where we get the bonus ) to make their calculations.
But yes, I can provide OR with up to 3 years payslips as I kept them for my records...

    Thank you!

Do let us know how you do, and as you say it's an agreement so they have to be willing to work with you on what's fair.
