Cabot & Fire

Cabot have been chasing me for an alleged debt, which IS statute barred, they were informed of this by letter.

In the last couple of days I get a letter from Fire chasing the same debt.

NOw, are they the same company or do I have to go down the same road again??

Cabot use FIRE (and some genuinely 3rd party firms) when they are chasing a debt that they know is unenforcable for one reason or another, in an attempt to try to distance themslves from any dodgy dealings that might take place in pursuit of that debt.

Please remember that once a debt is statue barred by a dca then it cannot be passed onto some one else to be collected its breaking the law.
