3-seater leather recliner sofa - under £500?

Hi all!

I'm looking to buy a dark brown, 3-seater leather recliner sofa (as you may have surmised). My budget is £500 so this will have to include delivery charges.

Obviously I know my £500 will not get anything of exceptional quality, but that is all I've got, so it will have to do. Has anyone seen any deals that are available at the moment in this sort of price range?

Thanks! :D

hi , i have a 3 seater leather recliner and never again ,it's the worst thing i ever bought it has been repaired 4 times and then replaced an the arm has come loose just as the 12mth warranty has run out an the company wont touch it now and it's only 13 mths old
  • Surely that's just an (unlucky) isolated incident, they can't all be that bad can they?

Out of interest, which company did you use?

hi i used land of leather ,the upholsterer who came out to me to repair the settee said that because of the reclining action there is no proper way of attaching the arms so they are just tacked on with a thin strip of wood ,and that 9 out 10 of the repairs he had did that day where all the same problem .
it's 3 seater and a 2 seater that i have and both settees have had the same problems .
i dont mean to put you off but in my opinion it was the biggest waste of money i ever spent mine cost me £900 so it wasnt even the cheapest of the selection that they had .
they also need to situated away from the walls in your sitting room or they dont recline without tearing the wall or the suite

    Hi there

We got our from land of leather too ..a 3 seater and 2 seater in cream -both recliners and a similar price to tattoed bums ... We had a cable snap -but had taken out extended 5 year warranty (thankfully)...
We think they are our best buy ever...they are soooo comfy... and ours can go against the wall as the actually slide as they recline..and can go right back so you are virtually lying down :T

the only thing with them is they are so damn heavy to shift -ours are a metal frame so really sturdy ..just bloomin heavy to pull out to spring clean :rotfl:

  • Depending on where you are why not try http://www.trade-secret.co.uk/. There are plenty of posts on here about them but basically they sell branded furniture at half the price ie returns from M&S etc.
