Tchibo FREE P&P

Options
I signed up on https://www.tchibo.com to receive their weekly newsletter of offers , and was sent a code for me to receive free P&P if I order online within one month: 302280, saving you £3.95.

The offer is open to all those who sign up to their newsletter. Current deals include a fan oven, with a skewer and rotisserie for only £34.90. This is brilliant. I've had it for a year, and love it. It saves lots of electricity too, as it's suitable for smaller meals. Everything you buy is guaranteed for 3 years!

Glad you could still use it! I was surprised. I thought the code wouldn't work by now. Maybe I should see if I need something from there now... ;)

Edit the code may not work (302280), it did accept in. In my ordre it took the postage off, but yesterday I recieved my goods and a bill with full postage, yet online my account it took it off. I got the 10% off Quidco though validated, within a day or so

Poppycat I had the same problem. Received a bill that included postage. (Got the discount from elsewhere).
They are not legally allowed to charge you more than you agreed to pay are they? If they didnt agree that the voucher could be used then they should have cancelled the order / contacted the customer. I think quoting that to them should see a refund.

I will email customer services later. They did say "voucher only valid for new customers" on my confirmation email, but it was a new account that I used. In reality it was supposed to be a new customer (my mum) but she was having problems with her PC so I ordered on her behalf.

Just ordered 2 pairs of leather ladies trainers for £5 each. DD (11) has the same size feet as me (6) so thought one for her and for me or if i dont like etc she can have them both and will work a treat through the holidays.

    Free postage accepted.

    Thanks OP.

Thats what I thought smashed. I emailed them and mentioned this and they refund the postage.

I did recall when I ordered in the order conformation that they would check the validation of the code, I thought fair enough if they dint allow it they inform me.

I sent the mail off and said a similar thing poppycat. Its more the principle.
I also warned them that they could have a dangerous (illegal) ordering system if codes are discarded without warning to the customer and that they want to review their process.

11 days later and no reply, and no refund.
I will send them another email , not too sure whether to be extra nice, or to tell them that I am 100% within my rights to expect a refund of P&P. A bit of both I guess.
You were obviously luckier than me poppycat
