thermal underwear

Where is the best place to buy this please? I love Damart but it is expensive (I have to order online as we live in a little town in Cornwall). I ordered thermal vests from Ebay a couple of years ago but not sure which the shop was. I can cope with a little camisole type thing but a friend told me Primark ones go out of shape quickly. Asda (a smallish store near where I work) only has mens which is too big (I'm a 10-12 womens size). Thanks.

I have just bought from Ebay seller ran1210. Haven't washed them yet, and they're basic rather than beautiful, but very reasonable and they arrived very quickly.

I bought some vests and long johns from Matalan this morning and they were on the pound rail. I actually paid 98p per item at the till, good luck.

Asda has a variety for 3.91, just do a search for "thermal" in the women's section. Here's a pair of leggings. I haven't tried these, but I bought something similar from Wal-Mart in the States, think they were called cuddle duds or something, and they are great because they look nicer than typical thermal underwear, and they definitely keep you warmer!

I got mine from M & S not very cheap at £8 for a long sleeved top and 10 for longjohns but they do keep me warm and havent gone out of shape.

Dont forget the trick with thermals is to get a bigger size for tops than you are as they come up very small... for example I am a size 10 M&S sizing but had to get a 12 in tops to be comfy

Rather than spend money changing all the tickets, Matalan are reducing the VAT charge at the till, so all items that attract VAT are slightly cheaper than they are marked at.

    I've been Money Tipped!
Just bought from M&S, good quality, bottoms look just like leggings when on.
  • I like the M & S ones, they have ones that aren't too granny like. Like another poster said, buy them a size too big so you can tuck them in really well.

Aldi had some ski thermal sets in for £7.79.
  • Thanks to all of you. Unfortunately the nearest Matalan is over 50 miles away and our Asda doesn't stock womens ones. Because we are over 25 miles from Asda they won't deliver (ditto all supermarkets except local Somerfield). I did look at some for £6 on M and S site (less than £10 including p+p), may go for that or look at ebay site. Thanks to you all :money:
