Coping with redundancy in your 50s

A friend who was an executive has been writing of his experiences in an amusing and insightful blog. I recommend it whether or not you are in work, because it does have more laughs than you might expect, as well as some useful info. It's called "Coping with Redundancy in Your 50s" and you can find it by clicking here.

I'm sure the ex-Woolworths staff will be flocking to it.

Still waiting for the sob stories to appear on here.

Just had a quick glance - and will be going back for a read.

Sounds like your friend is taking a very positive attitude to this at first glance - good for them.
  • I failed to update - sorry.

He did find a job after over two years unemployed, as he tells in his June posts.
While jobless he also set up a website, http://www.copingwithredundancy.org.uk offering advice gained from his own experiences and which has links to many advice sites, including - naturally - MSE.
