errrrrr - probably not to be honest! but i don't mind going alone now... i'm over my fear of being stuck at the back and prefer it that way!! too much jostling mid pack!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
That doesn't sound too promising! I've damaged the tip of the cable that actually goes into the laptop, it got caught and now has fallen off!
I'm guessing this will probably be pretty expensive to fix as I'll need a new power pack.Keep the Faith!0 -

Nope - that won't be covered by warranty I'm afraid.What kind of laptop have you got? We've got oodles of spare cables around the flat (Dell or HP from memory) and I'd be happy to send you one if it'll suit...26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%SPC 2019 #073

Burlesque is very unusual, isn't it!Burlesque_Babe wrote: »that is lovely, brought a bit of a lump to the throat.
Just spoken to the guy at the school and I'm heading there for 4.15. It's not far away (and on a drive I'm not scared of ) so I can get the low down on the place.
He was a bit hesitant when we spoke (he'd left a message on my mobile only minutes before) as if he wasn't sure who I was - he then told me there is a Karen (same surname) as me also works at the school!! What are the chances of that?? My surname isn't exactly common, a Keren and a Karen with the same surname, this could be confusing! :rotfl:

lol............for a minute I thought you actually 'knew' me and I was thinking - ooooooh, someone has 'found' me and recognises me from real life. It took me ages to work out what you meant! :rotfl:
Even more so, when I did a quick looky-see at your posts and see you are also ex-NHS like me!!

What shape/diameter is the bit that plugs into the PC? I'll have a look at home and if I've got something suitable I'll PM you and you can let me have an address to send it to.26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%SPC 2019 #073

It's round and thin in shape, diameter is roughly between half a cm and 1cm. If you've got something like that then that would be fantastic!
That just sounds wrong doesn't it?! :SKeep the Faith!0 -
can't stop yawning.
Think I've got enough time to do the washing up and then head off to the school.
