I know it's a bit cheeky but can you return sale clothes with receipt and then buy them back if they've gone down further in the sale??
I remember buying some jewellery from Wallis a few years back. I returned them unused and wanted a refund. While the transaction was being processed, the cashier said that the necklace(original price £10) was now £2. I promptly bought it again!!!

Why not. If the store allows it.
Some stores will not allow a refund if you have just changed your mind.0 -
It's stuff like this that helps push shops into administration, imagine if we all did that...the high streets would soon empty. We have removed your signature - please contact the forum team if you are not sure why - Forum Team0

I have done this.
Have not been as brazen as asking at till at time of return but have returned an item and then later purchased it at a reduced price.0 -

Bought from Debenhams in sale. The sale was not as good as last year when similar items were 40% off now they're 20% to 30%. I think I got the wrong sizes so will buy back only if reduced significantly.0

Yes you can....
I was actually exchanging an item to a store the otherday ( it was faulty) It had been reduced further in price since i bought it however i felt i got a bargin at the price i got it at but the sales lady ( who was the manger) offered to refund me the item then sell if back to me as it was now lower in price ( she offered i didnt even ask) I said yes please of course....
So dont feel bad about doing it and Zenseeker if the stores are offering it to customers then surely its not going to put them into administration.New York ♥..........These street will make you feel brand new, Big lights will inspire you.

To be honest shops should know what they're getting themselves into, suddenly reducing prices after xmas. I bought some jewellery on xmas eve, on boxing day the shop had 25% off everything signs in its windows, and they had given me a 28 day return guarantee.
Paying over the going rate for things pushes your bank account into administration, and in this world you need to look out for number 1.0 -
I ordered a dress online from a high street store at the sale price on Christmas Day. Before the dress arrived I saw the same dress for an even more reduced price (£35 less!) in one of their shops. I promptly bought it and when the online order arrived I simply sent it back.0

I have a dilemma with New Look at the moment. I bought a dress just before xmas full price £25 and I want to return it but havent had a chance yet, because it is too big. Dreading going in there and finding it has been reduced to £5 or something stupid!! Do they honour the price on the receipt does anyone know???:heart2::heart2::heart2: I LOVE MY BEAGLE! :heart2::heart2::heart2:0
