Hi just wanted to share that we have spent several days searching for a good price on the Hotpoint 1000GX range oven. Empire Direct has come come up trumps on this. B&Q quoted us £1,200 with no warranty. Empire direct gave us a price match (on Boots) for £810 with a 3 year warranty. It took a bit of haggling with the sales person on the other end of the telephone as they will only price match on items on the internet which show as being in stock - but Boots (yes that's right the chemist!) seems to have all sorts of kitchen appliances in stock at really low prices - but with lower warranty and higher delivery costs.
