Cheap... but good quality clothing....

Hi all,

Any ideas where I can buy good quality, but cheap, mens clothing.

Ive shopped in places like Primark, Tesco etc. While the clothing is cheap, the quality is pretty poor, with things looking bad after a wash or two.

Marks and Spencer on the other hand has excellent quality, but is pretty highly priced. Given that all these items are made in asia etc, I would expect them to be pretty cheap!

Anyone found somewhere that sells good quality clothing cheap?

My hubby buys clothes from Peacocks - In our opinion the prices are reasonable, good quality & wash well.
Next Clearance shop is also worth a try too.

I find the TU Clothing good for my kids and have bought a few things for myself when they have a sale or one of their 25% promotions.
  • If you want to know which clothes last take a look in your local charity shop and see what is there.
  • I buy most of my OH's t shirts from Debenhams. They wash and wear well.

thanks for the responses. Unfortunately ASOS is just for women... I always imagined debenhams to be as expensive as places like Next etc... ie great quality but overpriced.

M & S do some cheaper ranges. Hubby has had some decent jeans and a shirt from there. Shirt was £9 and the jeans I think were only £7! Worth taking a look. Likewise Debenhams do some own range stuff which is pretty reasonable and washes ok. Next is a bit hit and miss.

My hubby has had loads of stuff from peacocks and so far so good - fab quality and looks like new after each wash. Gorgeous soft touch jumpers for £8 each!!!
