There are always things which we have to buy, like shoes, even if we've deferred purchase for a while. In addition we all need something as a reward, life would be tedious if we didn't and it would rapidly leave us demotivated in the OP etc.

(There, not a mention of spreadsheets..... oops I did, didn't I?)

You are naughty..smack bum for you..second thoughts you might enjoy that:p

Well no list last week:p, so not too much to report on 'a day late', weekly roundup!

I have certainly done my bit for the economy over the last few weeks with my spending, but am back to my good self now!:A

I have done 8/9 mystery shops, think i'm getting the hang of them now! Have another 4 booked for this week, two Wednesday one Thursday and a nice (hopefully) meal one for Sunday lunch. Not great pay but keeps the bank balance looking healthier!

Got a busy week coming up, 4 days 8-5 work, extra evening shift and all those 'mystery shops' thank goodness for MSE to keep me sane..ish:rolleyes: Am working all over the place this week so lots of mileage claims to put in, shall we take bets on how long it takes for me to get paid the miles?

Ok just for you lot:oI will do a list for this week::A
    • Take lunch to work every day, and tea for the extra shift
    • Complete all four mystery shops and input data on time!
    • Work out what payments i'm due from my 'mystery shops' already completed
    • Get some gardening done! At least chop the trees and sow some grass
    • Sort out hubbies savings as its BIG payday this week:j
    • Pay off last remaining stoozing credit card
    • Order fridge freezer..I know still not done it from two weeks ago
    • Get as organised as Taka and Sturat with spread sheets..this is going to be a long standing item I feel!
    • Sort, label and box items for next available car boot sale
    • Nab some more mystery shops for next week!
Ok, enoughs enough, I feel tired just typing that lot!

Hope you have all had a fabulous Bank Holiday weekend

    TPAx
    P.S. I didn't get any easter eggs..not fair!

Me neither :o My family don't swap them anymore as we had a couple of years where everyone got and gave boxes of cream eggs (our family's favourite by far) and we decided it was too silly swapping them for exactly the same thing! We all buy our own if we want them now! I bought mine half price in Boots on Friday as I knew I wasn't getting any! 3 pk of cream eggs for 60p... yummy! :EasterBun  :o

We all had one each (OH gets them no duplication here), but as yet I've not opened the egg just one of the giant kitkats... it'll keep. (Nice to see Nestle has reduced packaging 25% this year and done away with plastic etc, most commendable).

  • Well I think Stuart and taka should share their eggs with me or they will both get porky..just like me:rotfl:, as I already am porky it doesn't matter how many/few I eat:rotfl:

  • Yum tum thank you taka:beer:

Never ever again! I did a full day at work and then did 4 yes 4 mystery shops on the way home. Now when and if I get paid for said shops I will be happy, but I now have brain ache. The 'shops' themselves were not too bad but the questionaires were another thing:mad:

I have just finished and opened a well earnt Budweiser..slurp slurp, slurp.

Worked last night also so ££ looking healthier. I think we should be able to save almost £4,000 this month. Partly due to hubbies well earned bonus (no he's not a banker!)

    Hope your all doing well.

PS see you in Evans taka, great shop for us lovely curvy ladies..well about the only shop in my case..lol x

  • Good morning everyone, well my brain is still aching from yesterday and I have another, perhaps more complicated 'Mystery Shop' to complete today, where I have to reveal myslef:rotfl:he he, just realised that sounds rude and could be very off putting to the staff! What I mean is part way through my assignment (007:D) I have to tell them what I'm doing...scary stuff:eek:

Anyway enough waffle, going to recharge my brain will talk to you all later.

So, with all these mystery shops have you set up a spreadhseet yet to keep track? Lots of lovely columns :j, including charging 6p a sheet for printing assignments out to offset against tax (you are going to declare it, aren't you ;)).
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
