DS Offer, 100 Classic Books half price.

I've just got back from Aldershot after getting Donky Kong Jungle Climb (at full price) with the 100 Classic Novels for the DS.

They have an offer (displays instore as well) of the Classic Novels being £9.78 instead of £19.56 if you buy ANY DS game.

However their tills have not made the change so I was charged the full £19.56, I didn't notice at first so had to go to customer services to get it refunded & pay again.

Basically if anyone else is after this offer make sure that check the Classic Books is at £9.78.

Having said that, I've just been into Stratford Upon Avon, who didn't have the posters up or know about the deal.

I called Head Office, who said although it wasn't available online, it should be across all stores.

So the Manager called the Leamington Spa branch, where I'd seen the posters advising the offer but they didn't have the 2nd game I wanted, to confirm the deal.

No problem he says to honour it, but then he couldn't work out 1/2 of £19.56, so gave me the 100 Classic Collection for £9.00. :j

My one was in the Aldershot store as per my OP, they had posters up etc etc, I was advised of the offer before I went in from a friend & it wasn't until I had the problem at the till I specifically looked & saw advertising for it.

Having said that when I was at customer services getting the refund so they could put it through at the offer price two of them went over to the poster to read it, I think they were checking out the small print despite it saying in large letters "half price with any DS game"!
