Gordon Brown to 'create' 100,000 jobs.

...details in sundays observer, but nothing on line yet.

Probably more pt ASDA and Subway jobs. No use to anyone but students.

I suppose he could fit some more 'customer service advisors' into jobcentres???

  • aint broadband fast enough already in most of the country????

    School repairs? Cant argue with that, they need it.

    Transport improvements? An extra carriage to enable me to get a seat would be nice?.. Other than that, a free range rover would be nice. There is lots of em spare.

    What is 100,000 compared to the amount of people who will lose their jobs in the end? He's trying to win voters back. It'd be nice to have more binmen so the bins were emptied more than once a week.

    i think that may be a dig at me. Unfortunatly inaccurate though, as I am gainfully employed.

    I think you'll find the majority of builders aren't building. a lot of projects have been put on hold and others won't be started and as a lot of their staff are sub contractors they will already have been laid off.
