Today at Cameraland in Cardiff I bought the Canon IXUS 80 for £130 - including a 4gb Ultra 2 card and a leather case.
It was on display for £120 without the card and case. I just told him that I was interested in it but was going to buy it elsewhere cheaper (Amazon) so he offered me this deal. It worked out about the same price as Amazon but it's UK stock and I have it today and know where it comes from. A lot cheaper than a lot of places so go grabbit if you are in Cardiff.

At the moment (in the sale) Jessop's are doing what they call a Canon ixus82 blue for £109.99 but no memory card is included, as far as I can see it's an ixus80 blue. Also if you order on-line and enter code JESSOP5 you will get a further 5% off the above price making it £104.49
that's better!

For the technically able, Canon cameras can be enhanced with a non-permanent firmware update to give them additional features such as shooting in RAW, bracketing, interval shooting, motion-detection and even full scripting abilities.

Doesn't harm the camera; simply turn it off and back on again to revert to the standard firmware.0 -
Well reminded terricfan I never thought to mention that on here. :T
The software is loaded onto a blank SD card, not into the camera itself
