McKeber Hotels - from £17.50 per person inc breakfast !

Ooops, sorry for spelling mistake in title

http://www.mckeverhotels.co.uk/SpecialOffer.aspx?NewsId=158

Hotels are available for stays in January and February. I was a bit hacked off since I only want the room for me, that there were no deals that weren't based on 2 people per room working out at £17.50 each.

Then I thought I would take one at £35.00 anyway and maybe claim 2 brekkies ??

But I looked again carefully and got a single room in the Glasgow hotel for £17.50 inc breakfast for the room, no need to pay £35.00.

Yipee :) Got the date before my stay in 2 travelodges elsewhere in Scotland for £12 each :)

I would be very careful about booking with some of the McKever Hotels. They operated one on the Southside of the City - The Parkview - and it was used mostly to house homeless people and was a real centre for crime and anti-social behaviour. It was eventually closed down when the police took action.

I know the Glasgow Southside Apartments are in the same building as various flats used to house homeless people with dependancy issues in an unsupported environment. Please be very careful.

Thanks for the warning due to local knowledge, but it's for the HOTELS only, not the apartments. There are 2 for Glasgow, one bang in the centre and one beside Queenspark.

I am sure that anyone taking advantage of this offer would check out reviews on somewhere like trip advisor first !?
