Am i looking for the impossible here?? I need it to fit 180cm gap. I can see a few plain singles in this size but not one with a trundle. I realise the guest bed bit would be smaller too but it's only for childrens use so thats not a problem.
Any help much appreciated

Hi
Have you looked at the Leskvik extendable bed in Ikea?? About £90
I bought one for my son when we lived in a small house - his room was not quite wide enough for a full size single bed and this worked really well.
Hope this helps

Hiya ,
I need one with a pull out bed underneath too, if that makes sense. Like a mattress on wheels! I'm pregnant with number two and will need to fit two under three's in a really narrow room! but they'll be too young for bunks.

a local shop in my town offered to make off size beds with their supplier.Apparently they can be made in smaller sectons by 3 inches at a time so e.g. 6ft long bed becomes 5ft 9. i had the same problem for daughters room and haad one made 3 inch shorter than usual and 30 inches wide.So not quite as wide a regular single. If you tell them what you need I bet they could get it made up for you.Ps they are not expensive either for their one offs.Mine was about £120.Google to Hargreaves furniture shop Goole0

I got a mattress from this company recently and thought it was very good value. They apparently can make beds to order?

I intend to "convert" the cot bed myself - add the wheels so I can roller it under the shorty bunk bed (still be a tight fit) as I cannot find a shorty with trundle anywhere.
If you do come across one, remember me!0 -
I've found one!!!!

I'm so pleased , it'll fit in so much better than a regular single. You can pick any combo of sizes and delivery is only a week or so which is good. Free delivery too. I'm going to go for the 2ft 6ins x 5ft.

Skylight ,
Just found this one too which is even better! it's got two decent sized storage draws which is great if your short of space.
