I can't install my printer

I finally got round to throwing my rather old XP desktop PC in the bin and bought myself a shiny new vista laptop.
However, I can't instal my printer onto the laptop as the install disc doesn't seem to recognise vista. It stops the installation process and tell me I don't have the required system (XP). Not sure if it matters but it's an HP all in one printer/scanner.
Is there any way round this or will I be taking a trip to the shops this afternoon? It seems a shame to have to buy a new printer when there is nothing wrong with the old one and it's not very MSE either;)

You need to go to the printer manufactures website and download and install the vista drivers.0

As Little John said you need to download the Vista drivers, 32 or 64 bit depending on what you've got installed.

Just wanted to post and say thanks, I downloaded the software and my printer is up and running again.
