Going BR. ?Forms

Hi Guys and Gals.
Happy New Year to you all. I'm new to posting to this site, although read a lot of threads which I've found very helpful.
My wife and I have been in an IVA since August 08 but have no assets to protect and are struggling with the payments. We are seriously considering going BR in next couple of months when we have the fees (probably from skipping IVA payments for 2 months). I am also waiting to hear from the Health Professions Council as to whether BR would affect my Professional Registration as I won't be able to go BR if it does. Anyway I came across a site of a guy who will fill the forms in for a fee, supposedly mistake free and a quick turnaround. Is this worth doing or are they quite straight forward to complete mistake free anyway? I don't want to complete them online but can't seem to print them off anywhere to fill in by hand, Anyone know how?
I've got a few other queries too but I will wait to see if this thread posts as I've had trouble in the past with it disappearing, not sure why but it's frustrating.
Regards.

Hi Dubiousone,
There's absolutley no need to pay anyone to fill in the forms, they're not that complicated, the difficult thing is gathering all the info together, which this guy cannot do for you, it really is money for old rope. When you get to court the clerk checks the forms before they get passed to the judge and will correct any mistakes. Out of interest how much is he charging?
Anything you get stuck on you can ask here for help, there are even a few links showing exactly how the forms should be filled in.
If you phone your local county court they will send you the forms.

Thank you for the prompt reply, I appreciate it. The fee is £250 for individual or £450 for 2 petitions (joint case). This seems like a lot but I had a phonecall recently from a company saying they will do it for £1200. LOL!
Thanks again.0 -

Please, don't pay a penny. As well as the help here there's also the Insolvency Service helpline for anything we can't answer.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
Thanks peachy. I've decided I'm going to do it myself and obviously with the fantastic help from the forum.

hi, here is the link for the forms from the sticky at the top of the forum, you can print them out. But make sure you have lots of paper etc as the forms come to a total of 38 pages long.
Forms to print and fill in:-- Debtors Bankruptcy Petition (form 6.27) - pdf version / MS Word version
- Statement of Affairs (Debtor's Petition) (form 6.28): pdf version / MS Word version

I'm sure max would fill in the forms for half that amount!
Hi and welcome dubiousone. As mentioned above forms are easy to fill in - we've all done them ourselves and once you've filled yours in you'll be glad you didn't pay someone to do it for you.
