Hello All,
I was wondering if anyone on this board has "Candida Albicans" and if so how they eat on a budget to control it. I have this and due to financial constraints started to eat more home-baking to fill out meals and found it sent the condition into overdrive. So far found the best way to eat is the "F2" way but that can be rather expensive with all the non home-produced fruit and yogurt drinks etc.

There is a very good book by a woman called Erica White, here is the link:

In all honesty I find the Candida diet so strict and restricting that I think I would rather have Candida than stick to this diet - but I know people who have done it and found it a miracle cure for all sorts of ills.
The basic thing to do when you suspect (or are diagnosed with) Candida is to cut off sugars.
Good luck! Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).0 -
There's a thread somewhere about making your own yogurt, which might help. It should be possible to adapt the diet to local/seasonal food, so for example, fruit at this time of the year should be mainly apples, with a few more exciting bits occasionally for variety.
As Caterina says, cutting out sugar is important, as that's what feeds the yeasts.0
