Ikea Aspelund furniture

I have just bought a wardrobe/drawers/bedside tables from the Aspelund range at Ikea, due to be delivered by the 15th (does it usually come before the date given??) Cheap and cheerful, will probably eventually end up in the spare room, but is the furniture any good? Nice/spacious? Just wondering really as I bought it on their site and haven't had chance to view it properly.

Can't help with the Aspelund range but we bought the Malm range (chest of drawers and 2 bed side tables) and I have to say I was incredibly impressed with the quality and the size of the drawers. Ikea did deliver on the day they said for us but make sure they know about any access issues in advance as the driver commented that as we're on the second floor, they could have had some trouble if they weren't aware!

I have (second hand off ebay) the two drawer unit with the hidden jewellery drawer. Lovely deep drawers - don't over load it and it'll be ok.

The delivery company phoned me today to confirm the day, they took my mobile number and said they would text when they are nearby so I can go home and collect it...excellent service, but should be at £35 for delivery! I am hopeing it isn't a load of crap and looks nice in the room!

I have the bed, 2 wardrobes, 2 bedside tables and an underbed drawer. Had them for 2 1/2 years now and I'm happy with them. I like the fact that you can add more drawers and rails to the wardrobes over time. Only problem I had was with the bedframe, the slats kept popping out during the night resulting in the mattress sinking to the floor on one side! OH solved the problem by doing something complicated with string.

I have 2 Aspelund Wardrobes. there was an accident resulting in a foot going through on of the doors, and it therefore needs replacing.
If anyone has a spare door, or is chucking an old wardrobe and has a door going please let me know.

If anyone has the complete wardrobe in Birch, (Not the new white that they stock) I would be very interested!! Had a full set of this bedroom furniture for nearly 3 years and its fantastic.
