Readers Digest competition

Today I received through the post the Readers Digest competition numbers. If you agree to buy a book you also get added to a draw for a new car. I didn't want the book so I put my numbers in the 'NO' envelope and sent them back. You are still supposedly entered for the £250,000 draw. I'm a bit cynical and imagine all the 'NO' envelopes going in the bin, but seeing as they sent me this mail, I will send them one back in return. Has anybody won after semding back their numbers in a 'NO' envelope?
A problem shared is a problem multiplied. :o

No, i dont even know anyone who has won something after sending their numbers in a YES envelope.
We got Readers Digest for about 3 years and were inundated with thse things for years after we cancelled our subscription. Yest, i am very sceptical too and just see a bin full of NO envelopes.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.

I remember reading an article once about this and people who said 'no' still did win.

I used to work for a big company at one point, and although they were sloppy about some things they were always squeaky clean about competitions.

I won other comps (posted in this forum) despite putting no marketing on the entries.
:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.
