I think you will find that it is 20 bottles per case. So the 2 cases would come to a total of 40 bottles and not the 400 quoted. That makes it 40p for a small bottle (if my memory serves me right .25 of a litre) of beer. Lidl are doing it at £7.49 per case at the moment saving 50p per case and you are not obligated by as a pair.
If I am wrong and it £0.04 let me know and I would there in a flash.

Yeh I think he worked it out wrong, it works out at £0.40 a can/bottle whatever it is. Still its all cheaper than Tesco and Asda at the moment, who are offer 2 for £20. The offer is on till 7/12/2004. Heres what you can get:

Smirnoff Ice, Black 12 x 275ml
Budweiser Lager 24 x 207ml (bit rubbish really)
Carling Lager 20 x 440ml
Grolsch Premium Lager (bottles) 24 x 300ml
John Smiths Extra Smooth 18 x 440ml
Smirnoff Ice 12 x 275ml
Stella Artois Lager 20 x 330ml
Strongbow Cider 18 x 440ml

So as you can see, only the Bud is the small ones, the rest seem like normal size to me. Think i might do some ordering for New Years Party

yes, but I was in Lidl this afternoon and the price was £7.99 for 20 bottles @ 250 ml which is equivalent to £1.60 / litre.

Your memory serves you wrong as the offer is on 330ml bottles, not 250ml. Obviously it is 40p a bottle still, but a bigger bottle than you thought
