I tried to place an order early this afternoon and got:

Thank you for placing your order. Unfortunately, we can't confirm your order at the moment but we'll send you an email shortly (this may take a couple of hours during busy periods). There is no need to re submit this order

I never got an email. I tried just now to redo the order and got the same thing. I was worried about duplicating my order but my bank said it's not listed in my outstanding transactions so it won't go through. But the latest order is in my verified by visa receipt history. Although still no order confirmation email, or detail of it in my orders on the Argos website.

Has this happened to anyone?

It says the offer expires on the 31st but then it also says it's applicable on orders between the 27th and the 31st, so not sure if it's too late to call tomorrow.

But I guess I might not get the £20 voucher now... .....no actually :mad:

Just ordered a mattress over £100 so got 2 £10 off codes to use but only for online orders....but if I use these online then I have to pay delivery....so hardly seems worth it is there any way round this????
I know there's a free delivery code for over £50 spend but not planning on spending that much
