Here are 2, they only work for home delivery

    FURN15 - 15% off all Sofa, Beds & Mattresses - Expires 23rd July
    WASH15 - 15% off all washing machines over £250 - Expires 23rd July
  • Can anyone advise? I'm looking for a fairly inexpensive mattresss for my daughter and Argos have some good offers on at the moment as well a 15% off voucher for buying online - but the mattress i want can only be reserved online and then collected in store. Is there any way i can still get the discount?
Failing that, does anyone know a good mattress shop in Manchester?

I would stay well away from Argos as far as mattresses are concerned. They don't actually sell any that are good quality. And the only time they are cheap is when they are reduced to clear.

If I were you I would stay away from big brand names and big chain stores if you want good quality at a low price, and shop on line from a seller who gives a proper satisfaction guarantee that allows you to actually unpack and sleep on the mattress. This way it is in their interest to make sure that you make the right choice the first time.

or a small independent local store where you can go in and actually try the mattress before making the decision , I've bought my most recent ones from a small local shop thats been in business for 30 odd years , good honest advice ( unlike the big chains ) and good old fashioned customer service

sometimes it's best to look past discount codes and cheap prices

If you can find a small local independent store, that gives honest advice, charges good prices, and gives a sstisfaction guarantee, then they are worth using. However they are few and far between these days.

It is worth remembering that many on line retailers also match all the above criteria (except maybe for being local), but due to lower overheads they will probably sell at far lower prices.
