All 50w GU10's are different some of the cheaper ones are only rated at 1000 hours, where as others are rated at 8000 hours, also if you find they don't last very long GU10 are now available in 35w or low energy, don't get GZ10 by mistake as they don't have the bevelled edge on the base.

Toolstation are selling 2000 hr GU10 bulbs £1.35

I think they have a free delivery on all orders offer until christmas (normally only on orders over £50), or stores in Bridgwater, Bristol, Exeter and Yeovil.

Depends where you live, TRAGO MILLS in Devon and Cornwall have them for 79p each. No mail order facility.
NO to pasty tax We won!!!! Just shows that people power works! Don't be apathetic to your cause!
  • Lidl were selling them a few weeks back for a few pence each. There were four bulbs in a pack for about £1 or £1.50. I can't remember the exact price but I stocked up. Every time I see them in B&Q for around £5 EACH, I further increase my contempt for the increasingly expensive rip-off B&Q.
  • Poundland were selling a pack of three for "Yes a Pound" (I only asked that question once :-[!!) But i think that it's pot luck what you get in store.
