Hmm just checked my credit report - Cahoot (Loan £5k on DMP) have added a default to my record for a credit card i had with them closed 2 years ago!!! Hmpf! i wrote a SOA letter to them in August with a cheque because their charges are very high, before xmas i wrote another letter saying they had failed to comply and i wanted the statements within 2 weeks or I would escalate it.
Straight on the phone and they said it will take a month to rectifiy! is that the norm? i'm so cross - so it matter if its been on there a month and then taken off? I suspect it was meant to be added to the Loan account

Don't speak to anyone on the phone. They have to repsond within a certain timeframe or they cannot chase the debt. They will try to bend the rules by phone, but know the score and won't in a letter. Refuse to answer any security questions and insist all communication is in writing.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0
