  • Fighting for a just cause does take time and perseverence. Well done and THANK YOU Martin Lewis
My wife has just been stung by a managing company for TESCO's car park in a totally unfamiliar area 70 miles away from home for £70. As a State pensioner couple in their SEVENTIES , I do think it is impossible to justify noticing the one & only notice . There are no "take a ticket and pay later" arrangements or other notices strewn around the premises.
I intend to Appeal . All the help I can get from Members , I shall be obliged.
  • I got a PCN dated 3rd June 20 for an alleged offence dating from 2nd May 20.
i raised representation on Merseyfliw website following their instructions in the PCN advising that the PCN was issued after the 28 day threshold that it must be served to me and uploaded scans of their letter showing this.
On 21st July I got a letter, actually a Charge Certificate, from Merseyflow demanding £60.
Afain I raised representation through their website and uploaded supporting evidence and added reference to my earlier representation of which I have not had reply - though understand it’s still within the 56 days allowed to respond.
I called Merseyflow to discuss the matter and was told they had no record of my previous representation - though they acknowledged they had the one I raised on 21st July 20.
They said the case was on hold and wouldn’t increase until they respond within 56 days.
I informed them this wouldn’t do as they have commuted procedural impropriety on issue if PCN and now on issue if Charge Certificate as they have not responded to my representation to the PCN before issuing Charge Certificate.
Has anyone else had similar experience with Merseyflow? It’s seems very dubious to appeal through their website and they then claim to not have it.
Is there a way in which I can request they be audited for digital security or report them for this activity?
I’m totally appalled at the way in which I’ve been treated.

Tarquin - did you really get a ticket from MSE?

Because this is exactly what your hijacking a blog discussion thread says!

You need to be posting your own thread in the appropriate forum here, after reading the Newbies Sticky for the basic information of course.

However, as I fear Merseyflow are a legit/legal operation, you may do better to go straight to Pepipoo and post in the appropriate forum there for the very best help. Don’t try using a Hotmail addy to sign-up though, read their introduction posts fully and be prepared to provide all the info they ask for, personal details redacted of course.
